Hi, I'm Maciej, I'm from Poland, and I like programming and 3D printing.
Out of these passions, in between parenting, 3D printing, and my day job, Szpulomat was born in May 2025 — the original Polish version of SpoolFinder, which started as (and still is?) a hobby project.
The project was warmly received in Poland, so I decided to try my luck beyond its borders. I hope you'll like the idea too (and if not right away, maybe you'll share some honest feedback about what you don't like?).
The main goal is to create a single place where you can conveniently browse a well-organized database of the filaments available in your country, compare prices across shops, and, if you like, buy them at a good price.
SpoolFinder gets a lot of support from the community, and it tries to give back as much as it can. I feel like together we're building something pretty interesting here.
